We teach in automatic cars and nothing else. Manual tuition has been discontinued, so there is no clutch to balance, no gear to find and nothing to stall, so your attention goes on observation, position and timing from the first hour.
There is no office to visit. Instructors travel to the pupil, so a lesson starts at your front door, your workplace or your college, and the pick-up costs nothing. We cover 51 areas across East London and the City, seven days a week from 7am to 10pm, bank holidays included.
Lessons are £37 an hour, or £350 for a block of ten. Refresher hours for people who already hold a licence are £41. Payment is cash or bank transfer (we don't take cards), and there is no joining fee. Every price is on one page.
Every instructor is a DVSA-approved ADI: three qualifying exams, an enhanced DBS check, re-registration every four years and periodic standards checks. Meet the instructors, or read how we work.
Six things you can book. The rate is the same in every area we cover, and pick-up is never charged for.
From £37/hr
The standard lesson. £37 an hour, or £350 for a block of ten paid in advance. No clutch and no gears, so the first hour is spent on steering, mirrors and where the car sits in the lane rather than on the pedals.

For people who already hold a licence but haven't driven lately, or haven't driven in London. The first hour is an assessment; after that we work on whatever it turned up: bus lanes, box junctions, one-way systems, tight bays.

Thirty hours for £1,229 or forty for £1,580, taught in long blocks over days rather than spread across months. Best suited to people who have driven a little before, or who have a test date to work towards.

A full-length rehearsal on the roads around the centre you're booked at, marked the way an examiner marks it. The debrief afterwards goes through every fault and decides what the next few lessons cover.

The order we teach in, and the reason for it.
Mirror checks, the shoulder check before a left turn, and where to stop. Habits set in the first few hours are the ones still there under test-day nerves.
Junctions, roundabouts, lane discipline and the three test manoeuvres. With no clutch to balance and no gear to choose, these arrive earlier than they would in a manual.
The later lessons move onto the roads around the centre you're booked at, at the sort of time of day your slot falls. Examiners choose the route, so we practise the roads rather than a script.
A mock test decides that, not the calendar. If the day doesn't go your way, the examiner's sheet sets what the next few lessons cover.
Your instructor travels to you. Pick-up from home, work or college in any of these 51 areas, at no extra charge.
Driving test centres we cover (routes, pass rates & tips):
Call, email or send the form. The three things worth telling us: which part of East London you're in, how much driving you've already done, and the days and times you're free.
